Yes, absolutely, without a doubt. Every prayer is like a seed planted in the ground that needs the living water of heavenly intervention to cause it to grow, blossom, and yield a rewarding harvest.

You can’t pray without understanding that. Otherwise, your prayers will just stay buried in the ground, like what the man with one talent did to his gifts.

Prayers are us asserting our heavenly privilege and honor to command the earth and all its secrets to be revealed to us. When we are aware of the secrets of the world, everything – even more than we could ever imagine – is at our fingertips.

The world and beyond is wrapped around our finger. So, to sum it up, prayer absolutely works because God has made us in His image and likeness; we are mini gods and goddesses in our own right.

But beware: if you don’t give credit to whom credit is due, if you dare doubt or disrespect our Dearest God, then don’t be surprised if your seeds of prayer stay dormant in the ground.
